Pride San Antonio, Inc. is a registered nonprofit corporation founded and organized in San Antonio. Pride San Antonio is operated under the direction of an all-volunteer community Board of Directors that has committed itself to working for the betterment of the San Antonio Community. Pride San Antonio is excited to be stepping into their 17th year of service to the San Antonio community. Pride San Antonio was created to instill pride, celebrate unity, embrace diversity, and recognize the contributions of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender community in the San Antonio metropolitan area. Pride San Antonio is best known for producing the annual Pride “Bigger Than” Texas Parade and Festival, as well as many other events that engage multiple interests within the community. Proceeds from Pride San Antonio work goes to support local charities and nonprofits selected annually by their Board of Directors.

The San Antonio College Student Advocacy Center increases student retention by supporting student's unmet socio-economic or mental health needs. They offer several services that allow students to focus on their academics; overall increasing student performance, retention, and graduation rates, contributing to a healthy, stable, and educated community. Resources offered include a food pantry, clothing closet, emergency financial assistance, and counseling. Trained and licensed staff can guide students in personal, social, educational, and psychological matters. Students in need can call the Student Helpline at 210-486-1111

The Farmers & Artisans Market offers locally-sourced foods, community resource information, cooking demonstrations, and handmade crafts from local pop-up venders. The Farmers & Artisans Market is every first and third Saturday at the Mission Marquee Plaza.
Dress for Success is a non-profit that helps women and men by promoting economic security and self-sufficiency. Since 2002, Dress for Success has been committed to stopping the cycle of generational poverty, violence, and homelessness in our community. They provide business attire, job training, interview preparation and more.

The Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children affected by the loss of a loved one. They offer grief support groups, counseling, grief, camps, and school-based support groups. They serve thousands of children, caregivers, and community members in San Antonio and throughout South Texas.

Project Mend helps improve the quality of life for individuals living with disabilities and illness through the refurbishment, reuse and distribution of medical equipment. Founded in 1992 by Murlin Johnson (1936-2007) and formally incorporated in 1993 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Project MEND, also known as the “Medical Equipment Network for those with Disabilities,” has been providing for the home medical equipment and assistive technology needs of persons with disabilities in San Antonio and around Texas.

Fiesta Youth provides a non-judgmental, affirming place for LGBTQ2+ young people and their allies. Rise Recovery is an organization focused on helping teens, young adults and families overcome the effects of drugs and alcohol while partnering with the community in education and prevention. Rise recovery provides individual and family recovery, youth recovery outreach, veteran peer support, and telehealth recovery support. Rise recovery also sponsors The Rise Inspire Academy. The Rise Inspire Academy is the very first recovery high school in San Antonio and combines innovative learning methods with a strong peer culture to support their students as they face challenges associated with early recovery.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness an advocate at the county, state and national levels for non-discriminatory access to quality healthcare, housing, education and employment for people with mental illness. They educate the public about mental illness, work to eliminate the stigma of mental illness, and advocate for increased funding for research into the causes and treatment of mental illness. NAMI is volunteer driven and provides education and support programs in San Antonio and surrounding areas.

The San Antonio AIDS Foundation (SAAF) provides care to low-income HIV-positive men, women and transgender individuals. Our services include resource and benefits assistance, case management, mental health counseling, medical care, pharmacy services, and a year-round hot meal program. We offer onsite and mobile testing for HIV and STDs, as well as HIV prevention education presentations in local public schools, at colleges and universities, adult probation facilities and teen detention programs.
